Placement
Students are individually placed in classes according to age, skill  level, ability, experience, and classroom attitude.  Students transferring from other schools are placed in a class for evaluation based on their previous dance history.  Class levels are carefully graded and because each student progresses at a different rate, class schedules are subject to change.

Late Registrations
Students registering after the season has begun will be placed in on-going classes where space is available. New classes will be formed as needed.

Tuition
Tuition is not based on the number of classes per month, but is a yearly fee for the total classes provided in the school term. Fees are due and payable in advance to Jill Stanford Dance Center the 1st of every month, August through May. $5.00 late fee will be added to accounts paid after the 10th of each month. We do not send statements. There are no refunds or credits for lessons missed. However, the student can make up classes missed. A $20.00 fee will be charged for returned checks.

End-of-Year Performance
Our annual performance takes place in May. This provides stage experience in professional surroundings as well as the opportunity to show family and friends the progress they have made throughout the year. A $55.00 costume fee for all Kinderdance, 6 and 8 year old combination classes, acrobatics, pre-jazz and Intro to Jazz classes is due between September and December 1.
